Dear Colleagues

The South African Society of Anaesthesiologists’ Western Cape Branch (SASAWCB) will be hosting an Update Meeting (CPD meeting) on 21 October 2023. On behalf of the SASAWCB’s local scientific and organising committee, it gives me great pleasure in inviting you to participate in this  in-person event at the Stellenbosch University’s Tygerberg Campus.

Our May 2023 Update Meeting was a great success, and we are hoping to build on that. The theme for this meeting is “TIME OUT”. We will be covering important ethical, medicolegal and wellness topics. We will also be looking at the relevance of our current practice within the South African context.

The AGM will also be held during this meeting.
